History of the Youth Brass Orchestra
The Youth Brass Orchestra of the F. Chopin Mariánské Lázně School of Music was created in 1969. 3 conductors have alternated at the head of the orchestra during its 33 year existence. The founder of the orchestra, conductor Václav Nováček handed the baton to Mgr. Jaroslav Zíma. The present art chief, conductor and manager, Mr. Josef Koreis took up the position in 2000.
