The two groups are part of the Cultural Music Association “”Note Stonate” from Scafati (SA). The Popeye Street Band is an 11 members brass ensemble dressed as sailors. Its lively repertory is mainly Dixieland jazz and unforgettable classics such as “When the Saints go marchin’ in” and “Hello Dolly” and also pop and contemporary tunes.

The Sailors Majorettes perform both choreographed daces and marches. The girls use batons and pompoms in time with the music and capture the immediate attention of their audience dressed as sailor girls. Their repertory includes choreographies to go along with Dixieland jazz, Latin-jazz and pop.

The two groups have participated in “Italia’s Got Talent”, the International Street Show, the National Festival at Mirabilandia and the National Competition for Majorettes in Faleria 2014.
