I would Iike to th8nk you for your invitation to the tenth edition of the Intemational Festival of Musical Band! in Giulianova.

It's a pleasur: for me greeting this event that in the previous years has been crowned with growing success for it allows many musical bands coming from different places of the world to performing on the stage wearing traditional costumes and playing music which i5 typical of their originating countries.

The musical bands, whose tradition is deeply rooted in lta1y, ~ one of the most felt and popular expressiom of musical culture of the communites of which they are expression, often letting the younger ones approaching music for the first time not as simple listeners, but in a very active and praetica1 way. discovering ethica1 and educational value of playing music together.

I wish I wou1d like expressing my appreciation for this plan which put in touch different people and musical traditions to live together in a spirit of friendship
